Pirzada Siraj Madani Nizami

His Holiness Pirzada Siraj Madani Nizami is the Founder-President of The World Sufi Mission (India),which was founded in 1990..He belong to the Holy family of the world renowned great Sufi Saint of India Hazrat Nizamuddin Aulia who was born in India in 636 Hijri (about eight centuries ago). Being the Ancestral Direct Descendant of the great saint, Pirzada Siraj Madani Nizami is busy in propagating the teachings and the mission of peace of the Indian Sufi Saints.He is the son of the famous Sufi Saint His Holiness Pir Zamin Nizami Syed Bokhari the sole successor, heir and Sajjadanashin of Hazrat Nizamuddin Aulia.During his tenure as the Chief Head Priest (Sajjadanashin) of the Dargah, several Presidents of India, Vice Presidents of India and Prime Ministers of India including foreign dignitaries have attended the Urs Celebrations. Several Kings, Head of States and Governments of foreign countries have also visited the Dargah (Holy Shrine) with His Holiness Hazrat Pir Zamin Nizami Syed Bokhari and under his Priest-ship.Sufi Shrines  are not the places for discrmination or communal hatred therefore their doors are open for everybody whether he is a king or beggar or even a sweeper.

    Pirzada Siraj Madani Nizami is also the General Secretary of Urs Celebration committee, Dargah Hazrat Nizamuddin Aulia.  He is a well qualified person and a Sufi Scholar and has got a Degree of Bachelor of Science from Jamia Millia Islamia and Bachelor of Laws from the Faculty of Law of University of Delhi. He later on became the Chairman of the Legal Affairs Committee of the Delhi Wakf Board and was also appointed Member of the Board  under the Wakf Act.1954 (A Central Legislation passed by the Parliament of India). He was a Member of the Delhi State Haj Committee for several years. He has also compiled Books on Sufi Saints in Hindi, English and Urdu. He has participated in several International  Conferences on world peace abroad. He has also attended international Conference ‘The Summit of World Muslim Leaders on World Peace’ at Jakarta, Indonesia. It is a great honour for Pirzada Siraj Madani Nizami that he has represented India in Saudi Arabia as a Member of Government of India’s Goodwill Delegation on the occasion of Haj, nominated by the Honourable Prime Minister of India. He has been awarded many times for his social work in the field of peace and harmony. The OISCA Foundation of India has also presented an OISCA Award to Pirzada Siraj Madani Nizami for peace and harmony. The felicitation of Pirzada Siraj Madani Nizami with an OISCA foundation Award is in fact a recognition of the centuries old mission of  world peace, universal brotherhood and communal harmony of the Indian Sufi Saints.It is a recognition in particular for the holy mission of Great Sufi Saint His Holiness Hazrat Nizamuddin Aulia and his great contribution which he has made for the well being of the mankind. OISCA Laureateship is an honour, which has also been conferred earlier on eminent personalities of India. OISCA (Organization for Industrial Spiritual and Cultural Advancement) is a famous international organization of U.N. status category 1, NGO with its World Headquarter at Tokyo, Japan and it has branches in 24 countries including India. Pirzada Siraj Madani Nizami believes in peace, harmony, tolerance, compassion and justice.He is a non political person. He has served Jamia Millia Islamia as a Member of its  Executive Council  nominated by the Hon'ble President of India in his capacity as the Visitor of the University. Jamia Millia Islamia is a Central University established under an Act. of Parliament of India. Pirzada Siraj Madani Nizami is also an alumnus of Jamia who has started his academic life in Jamia in 1956.Therefore he is one of the senior most ex students of Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi.
